England rugby player Mike Tindall pleaded guilty today to drink-driving.

The 29-year-old Gloucester centre was pulled over by police on the M4 in England near Reading, Berkshire, on March 15, the morning after a day at the races in Cheltenham with long-term partner Zara Phillips.

Tindall, of Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire, appeared at Reading Magistrates' Court to admit being over the legal alcohol limit.

Tindall was recently omitted from new manager Martin Johnson's first England squad.
