There is no place in the Munster squad for the stricken Ronan O'Gara ahead of Saturday's Magners League clash with Ospreys, but the out-half is reported to be making good progress in his recovery from the knee injury he sustained against Leinster.

O'Gara limped of at interval in the RDS encounter, but the 31-year-old could be fit to face Saracens in the semi-finals of the Heineken Cup.

Peter Stringer has been included in the squad for Saturday, as have the two players who missed out on the Leinster game, Marcus Horan and David Wallace.

John O'Sullivan, Anthony Horgan, Barry Murphy and Keith Earls also return to the fray.

Kidney will announce his side on Friday afternoon.
