The Clontarf and St. Mary’s College teams have been named for tomorrow's Leddin Finance Leinster Senior League Cup Final in Donnybrook (Kick-off 3pm).

St. Mary's route to the final included topping qualifying Pool 3 with maximum points in a group that included UCD, Bective Rangers and Skerries.

They faced UCD again in the quarter-final and re-asserted their authority over the students with a 27-17 victory in Templeville Road before edging De La Salle Palmerston 12-10 in an exciting semi-final played at their Templeogue headquarters.

Clontarf were in qualifying Pool 4 and they likewise won all their games against Seapoint, Barnhall and Wanderers which earned them a home tie against Old Belvedere.

They overcame the Anglesea Road side 26-21 before safely negotiating the obstacle presented by Lansdowne in the semi-final, winning 26-6 in Castle Avenue.

Saturday’s final, between the all-AIB League Division 1 pairing, is a repeat of the 2005-'06 final that was held in the RDS, a game won by the Northside club, 23-16.
