Munster coach Declan Kidney has named a 26-strong squad for the trip to Glasgow.
The squad includes RWC players, John Hayes, Marcus Horan, Jerry Flannery, Donncha O'Callaghan, Denis Leamy and David Wallace in addition to those internationals, Frank Sheahan, Alan Quinlan, Peter Stringer and Brian Carney who have already been involved with Munster since the RWC ended.
Neither Paul O'Connell nor Ronan O'Gara are involved this weekend. O'Connell suffered a slight back strain in training while O'Gara is still slightly troubled by a knee injury sustained in the latter stages of the World Cup.
However, Kidney is quite confident that both will be in contention for a place in the squad for the game against Edinburgh on Saturday week.
Also included in a Munster squad for the first time this season is Barry Murphy while there is a return to action also for Anthony Horgan who retired injured (hamstring) in the game against Cardiff Blues.
