Australian selectors have picked a massive train-on squad of 59 players for this year's international season, which culminates in the World Cup.
The roster will be trimmed to 40 players in a week's time before the selectors announce a final squad of 30 players on 20 May for tests against Wales and Fiji.
The World Cup squad will be announced on 24 July after the final Tri-Nations match.
Many of the players who miss out on the initial 30-man squad will be selected for the Australia A team, which is competing in the inaugural Pacific Nations Cup against Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Japan and the Junior All Blacks.
