Connacht are poised to sign Trev Ofisa, a younger brother of their player of the season, Ray, who has been a huge success since arriving last Autumn.
Trev Ofisa is a powerful 6'4" winger who has been outstanding for Samoa in the IRB World Sevens this season.
The 23-year-old has scored 14 tries in the IRB Sevens series this year, which has helped the Samoans to outright victory at the New Zealand and Hong Kong events.
Connacht have been monitoring the form of the winger, having been alerted to him by older brother Ray, who has become a firm favourite at the Sportsground after a series of superb displays in the back row since coming to the club last Autumn.
