South Africa will play Connacht in Galway on 21 August in a Rugby World Cup warm-up match.
Andy Marinos, the manager of South Africa's national teams, said the match would be accorded the status of a Springbok tour match.
The warm-up fixture brings to ten the number of matches which Springbok coach Jake White will have to prepare his team.
Their test programme begins on May 26 with the first of two tests against England before they face Samoa and have two matches against both New Zealand and Australia in the Tri-nations series.
The World Cup in France starts on 7 September.
