Ulster Rugby have announced that winger Paul McKenzie has signed a new two year contract which will keep him at Ravenhill until the end of the 2008-09 season. .

The former Bangor Grammar dual international, McKenzie was first named in the Ulster starting fifteen against Leinster on 2 December.

McKenzie had made an impressive start to his Ulster career prior to this, making an encouraging cameo role against the Borders and high-class performances for Ulster A.

Flyer McKenzie, who came through the Ulster Academy system and was awarded a development contract at the start of the season, has represented Ulster and Ireland at all under-age levels.

The talented North Down man also represented Ireland schools at cricket, and is thrilled to have been awarded this contract.

'I am obviously delighted. This season has been better than I could have expected and I am really pleased to committing to Ulster for another two years,' he said.
