Leinster and Ulster name XVs for Last Stand

The Leinster team to face Ulster in ‘The Last Stand’ - the last game ever to be held in the old Lansdowne Road - on Sunday 31 December (Kick-off: 2.00pm) has been named.

There are three changes to the side that played Munster on Wednesday.

Rob Kearney starts at full-back in place of the injured Girvan Dempsey while Australian international Chris Whitaker partners Jonathan Sexton at half-back.

In the pack, Will Green starts in the front row alongside Ronan McCormack and Bernard Jackman.

Brian O'Driscoll captains the side and partners Gordon D'Arcy at centre, while Guy Easterby and Felipe Contepomi will start on the subs bench.

Ulster coach Mark McCall has also named his side to take on Leinster in the Last match at the famous old venue.
