Ireland head coach Eddie O'Sullivan sprung few surprises in naming his squad for the November internationals.
Several players have been included in the 32-strong party after missing last month's training camp.
Malcolm O'Kelly, Ireland's most capped player, is restored to the squad after recovering from his groin injury.
Munster prop John Hayes has overcome an ankle problem, while his front row colleague Simon Best also returns after breaking his leg on club duty for Ulster near the end of last season.
Best is joined in the squad by Ulster team-mate Stephen Ferris in the back-row making his first appearance in the squad.
Leinster centre Gordon D'Arcy has shaken off the shoulder injury that prevented him from featuring in last month's sessions and John Kelly is also back in the fold.
There are four uncapped players in an otherwise experienced squad with Ferris, Jamie Heaslip, Paddy Wallace and Luke Fitzgerald yet to make their Test bow.
Tommy Bowe, Jerry Flannery and Johnny O'Connor were not considered for selection because of injury and there is no place either for veteran Munster number eight Anthony Foley who, it was confirmed today, is out injured for two months with a shoulder injury.
O'Sullivan said: 'As always the squad is selected on form and with the provinces playing so well in the Heineken Cup, there were some very tough calls, particularly in the back five of the forwards.
'There were some great performances from so many players and there are several who were very unlucky not to make the cut.
'The return of some of the players who missed out on our September camp is also welcomed as it will give us the experience that we will need going into three big weekends.'
