Australian centre Ben Martin outshone everyone else – scoring 23 points – to help UL Bohemians remain in the hunt for a play-off spot at Annacotty as they ran out 33-14 winners over Ballymena.
Bohs, who led 19-7 at the break, claimed their sixth win on the trot to move ahead of Cork Constitution, who have two games in hand, into fourth in the Division One table. The on-song Martin scored a try and kicked three conversions and four penalties.
Wingers Martin McPhail and Mark Butler also touched down.
Full-back Dirkie Strydom and winger Peter Budina crossed for tries for a disappointing Ballymena side. Ulster’s Paddy Wallace converted both.
