Cork Constitution closed the gap on third-placed Garryowen to four points in AIB League Division as they beat an off-colour UCD side by 25-0 at Temple Hill.
Con kept in the top-four hunt as tries from prop Mike Ross, winger Richard Lane, centre Diarmuid O'Riordan and lock Merle O'Connell helped them to their eighth win of the campaign.
A sole penalty from Darragh Lyons had them 3-0 up at the interval.
Con captain and number eight Frank Cogan said afterwards: "UCD made it very hard for us in the first half but we managed to pull away from them in the second half.
"We're going well at the moment thank God, after a couple of defeats last month. We've got our set pieces working well for us and there's a good buzz in the squad. We've got the AIB Cup semi-final (against Buccaneers) next weekend, and that's something to look forward to."
