Ballymena picked up their second win in three AIB League Division One games as fly-half Paddy Wallace controlled matters for the hosts in a 40-7 win over St Mary's College at Eaton Park.
Wallace kicked three conversions, three penalties and marshalled the Braidmen’s backline as they ran in five tries to Mary’s one.
Former Leinster U-21 hooker Ollie McCormack opened the scoring for Mary’s with a try but Dirkie Strydom soon crossed the Dubliners’ line, setting Ballymena on their way to a 13-7 half-time lead.
Centres Joel Semple and Jamie McGrugan, winger Scott Young and lock Bob Young also touched down for Steph Nel’s side in a one-sided second half.
