Mary's beat Terenure to reach semi

Two tries apiece from scrum half John Kilbride and winger James Norton helped St Mary’s College beat their arch rivals Terenure College 35-21 to book a place in the AIB Cup semi-finals.

Mary’s broke clear in the second half at Lakelands to set up a last-four clash with Garryowen.

Three penalties from fly half Richard Governey kept ‘Nure in the hunt at 9-14 down at half-time.

Having scored in the first half, Kilbride and Norton added to their tallies in the second with Mary’s flanker Adrian Copeland also touching down. Lock Dara O’Doherty and full-back Mark Mahony scored tries for 'Nure.
