Ian Dowling, the 23 years old Kilkenny man, will make his Heineken Cup debut when Munster face Castres this Friday.

The winger impressed in the Celtic League win over Edinburgh last Saturday and his inclusion means that Anthony Horgan is again out of the action.

While it will be Dowling's first Heineken Cup appearance it will be another milestone for skipper Anthony Foley who will be playing a competitive game for Munster for the 155th time.

Foley missed out last week due to the serious illness of his only son who is now out of hospitasl and back to full health.

Foley's return is one of three changes in the pack from last week with Marcus Horan and Denis Leamy also returning after injury.

International Mick O'Driscoll is amongst the reserves with Donnacha O'Callaghan partnering Paul O'Connell in the second row.
