Garryowen booked their place in the final of semi-final of the ODM Munster Senior Challenge Cup with a 15-10 win over Cork Constitution at Dooradoyle.
Cork Constitution led 7-5 at half time, after a try from Richie Lane, which was converted by Quaid. Garryowen's try from Andrew Finn kept them very much in the game.
In the second half, a Garryowen try from Pala'amo with a conversion and penalty from Conor Kilroy gave them the edge, with Constitution unable to add any more points to their first half tally.
With Shannon waiting in the wings for the semi-final on New Year's Eve in Thomond Park, Garryowen will be aiming to cause an upset and defeat the team that denied them last year's title.
In the other half of the draw, Cashel travel to Musgrave Park to play Dolphin, also on New Year's Eve.
Both matches have a 2pm kick off time.
