France made two changes to the team who defeated Canada 50-6 on Saturday for their rugby match against Tonga next weekend in Toulouse.

France coach Bernard Laporte and team manager Jo Maso recalled Sale number eight Sebastien Chabal, who came on as a late replacement in Les Bleus' 26-16 win over Australia eight days ago in Marseille.

Wing Vincent Clerc replaces Toulouse team mate Cedric Heymans in the 22-player squad.

Tonga were crushed 48-0 by Italy on Saturday in Rome. France have faced them only twice: they won 38-10 in a group match of the 1995 World Cup in Pretoria and lost 20-16 in June 1999 in Nuku A'lofa.
