Munster handed a serious injury setback

Munster coach Declan Kidney has been handed another injury blow with confirmation that centre Mike Mullins is likely to be out of action for a couple of months at least.

Mullins, in his sixth season with the Munster squad, had to leave the field in last Friday's friendly against Northampton Saints because of an injury and it has been revealed that he suffered torn Achiles ligaments.

Last week, Christian Cullen ruled himself out of contention until early in 2006 because of a complication to a shoulder injury.
