Ireland's 2005 Lions will be returning to the scene of their humiliation in June 2006 as the IRFU today confirmed that Ireland will play New Zealand and Australia during its 2006 summer tour.

Ireland will play three test matches during their tour to the southern hemisphere.

The first game will be against Australia on Saturday, June 10th and will be followed with two test matches against the All Blacks on 17th and 24th June.

The venues for the games are yet to be confirmed.
