England have called up props Mike Worsley and Will Green for the test match against Australia in Brisbane. Worsley, of Harlequins, and Green, of Wasps, are in Canada with the England XV who lost the Churchill Cup 26-19 to New Zealand Maoris.
England head coach Clive Woodward has injury problems following the second test defeat against New Zealand in Auckland. Matt Stevens has damaged left knee medial ligaments and fellow prop Trevor Woodman has a right shoulder injury.
The call-ups will give Worsley and Green a lift after Caleb Ralph scored a try in the final minute of second extra time to end England's Churchill Cup hopes. England had led 19-5 at half-time, but Kiwi Glen Jackson had missed a 30-metre penalty kick with the sides locked at 19-19 in first extra time.
