Ahead of the trip to South Africa, Ireland played a warm-up game behind closed doors at Lansdowne Road today.

The whites beat the greens 29-19, but scrum-half Peter Stringer and prop Reggie Corrigan picked up injuries during the course of the match.

Stringer hurt his left shoulder while Corrigan injured his knee, but Irish coach Eddie O'Sullivan is happy that both will be available in time for the forthcoming tour.

The party Irish party is scheduled to leave tomorrow week.
