Ireland's Six Nations success over England in Twickenham has lifted the team over South Africa to fifth in the IRB World Rankings.
The victory also saw England's lead at the top over the All Blacks reduced to less than two points.
If England were to lose against Wales in their next match New Zealand will go top, while Italy's 20-14 victory over Scotland has consolidated their position in 11th place.
Official IRB World Rankings: 1: England 91.99, 2: New Zealand 90.12, 3: Australia 86.58, 4: France 84.08, 5 Ireland 82.52.
