Clontarf extended their lead at the top of division of the AIL Division One this afternoon. The Castle Avenue side came from behind to beat Garryowen 21-15. Meanwhile Lansdowne are up to second spot but are eight points adrift after hammering Co Carlow 48-22.
Ballymena are a further point adrift after they suffered a rare defeat at Templeville Road losing 21-15 to St Mary's.
