Leinster's Gordon D'Arcy will be out of action for several weeks due to injuries sustained during the province's impressive 23-20 Heineken Cup Pool 4 victory over Montferrand in France yesterday.
D'Arcy, who had scored his side's opening try last night, had to be stretchered off after a clash with French international winger David Bory. And, after receiving treatment last night, it has been revealed that D'Arcy is suffering from extreme bruising to his left lower back and pelvis area.
Leinster officials have until 4pm tomorrow to decide whether or not they will cite Bory.
