Leinster are top of Group Four in the Heineken Cup tonight after a comprehensive 51-10 victory over hapless Swansea at St Helen's. The Irish provincial side made it two wins out of two in this year's competition thanks to a total of six tries in tonight's encounter.
The main instigator of this stunning win was Brian O'Driscoll, who scored two tries and set up another in a blistering individual display. Wing Gordon D'Arcy also played a pivotal role, scoring three tries, with Leinster's other touchdown coming courtesy of back row forward Aidan McCullen. Swansea managed to cross the line themselves through Steve Winn but that was no more than a consolation for the outclassed side.
The hosts endured a first half nightmare and found themselves 37-3 down at the break. Although they tightened up somewhat in the second-half and managed to score a try of their own, the real damage had already been done with those four first-half tries from Leinster.
