Anthony Foley is considered a major doubt for Munster’s Heineken Cup final against Leicester at the Millennium Stadium at the end of May because of the shoulder injury he picked up in the win over Castres in Beziers. Foley was injured early in the first half and was eventually replaced by Donnacha O'Callaghan. A scan on the injured shoulder joint last Monday revealed it was badly damaged and as a result he could be out of action for at least three weeks, that would effectively rule him out of contention for a place in the starting line-up in Cardiff.
On a brighter note, both Ronan O'Gara and Jim Williams are recovering from their injuries. Williams tore a calf muscle and it is not as serious as had been originally thought while O'Gara will have the stitches removed from his knee next week.
On the ticket front, Munster’s allocation of 20,000 will be distributed amongst the clubs in the province and the remainder will be put on sale to the public next week, most probably on Wednesday. Details of the ticket distribution channels will be confirmed tomorrow.
