Wood to miss Scotland match

Any faint hopes of Keith Wood being fit to face Scotland disappeared today when the Harlequins Hooker was omitted from the 25 man squad for the game at Lansdowne Road on Saturday week.

Geordan Murphy and Rob Henderson are also out injured but Paul O'Connell, Shane Horgan, Tyrone Howe, Mike Mullins and John Kelly have all been included in the senior squad. However both O'Connell and Horgan will have to prove their fitness by playing for their clubs at the weekend. Jeremy Staunton returns to the A squad. The teams to face Scotland will be announced at lunchtime on Tuesday.
