Irish squad train in Limerick

The Ireland rugby squad continued their preparations ahead of next month's Six Nations opener against Wales with a training session in Limerick this afternoon. Several players failed to take part in the workout, with Shane Horgan, Brian O'Driscoll, Brian O'Meara and Anthony Horgan all choosing to sit it out after their exertions at the weekend.

However, with the February 3rd clash less than three weeks away, there was some good news for Irish fans with scrum-half Peter Stringer taking a limited part in today's session. Team captain Keith Wood also trained lightly.
