Healey could miss Six Nations opener

Austin Healey could miss the start of England's Six Nations campaign after being cited for allegedly kicking an opponent. Leicester star Healey is accused of kicking Sale wing Anthony Elliott as they sprinted alongside each other, resulting in Elliott crashing to the floor.

Healey must attend a Rugby Football Union disciplinary hearing next Thursday. The average recommended ban for kicking to the body is six weeks. If found guilty, Healey could miss England's Six Nations opener against Scotland in Edinburgh on 2 February, and possibly the Ireland game at Twickenham a fortnight later.
