Scotland have made five changes in personnel from the side that beat Italy for the Six Nations Championship match against Ireland at Murrayfield on Saturday. Glenn Metcalfe has been restored to the number 15 position in place of Chris Paterson, who has played 13 times for Scotland at fullback. Paterson moves to the wing.
John Steel and James McLaren replace Kenny Logan and Cammie Murray, while in the pack, Jason White comes into the second row and Gordon Simpson is in the back row.
