Stiles battling to be fit for Wallablies

Australian prop Nick Stiles is battling to overcome a quadricep leg muscle strain in time to line out for the Wallabies against New Zealand in the Tri-Nations Cup on Saturday. Stiles sustained the injury during a weights session at the team's training camp and it will not be known until later today if he can be included in the first team, which should be announced on Wednesday.

There was some good news for the defending Bledisloe Cup and Tri-Nations champions as World Cup-winning flyhalf Stephen Larkham, who has been absent due to a nerve injury in his shoulder which ruled him out of the final Test victory over the Lions and the Tri-Nations defeat to South Africa in Pretoria, trained impressively and is confident of being fully fit by the weekend.
