England centre Will Greenwood's hopes of making his Lions Test debut were dashed today when he was forced to pull out of the 22-man squad for tomorrow's final Test because of injury. It comes as a bitter blow to the 28-year-old who missed out on making his debut in South Africa four years ago and in the two previous Tests during the current tour of Australia through injury.
He was named on the replacements bench for tomorrow's showdown with the Wallabies but he has since suffered a reaction to an ankle problem and is also suffering from flu. His place on the bench will now be taken up by Wales centre Mark Taylor.
