The British and Irish Lions trounced Queensland 42-8 on Saturday to maintain their unbeaten start to their tour of Australia. The Lions scored five tries to one to completely outclass a Queensland team containing nine Wallabies and register their third win in nine days.
The Lions led 32-3 at halftime after tries by Dan Luger, Rob Henderson, Dafydd James and Richard Hill and added a fifth try through Brian O'Driscoll after the break. England flyhalf Jonny Wilkinson kicked four conversions and three penalties while Queensland scrumhalf Sam Cordingley scored a consolation try late in the second half after Elton Flatley had kicked an early penalty.
The Lions play Australia A in Gosford on Tuesday with the first of three tests against the Wallabies in Brisbane on June 30.
