IRFU to re-issue tickets for England match

The IRFU has confirmed that for security and safety reasons the tickets issued for the Ireland v England game at Landsdowne Road are to be recalled.

They have advised those in possession of a match ticket for the original fixture to return it to the club by whom it was issued. The governing body has insisted that only holders of a new ticket will be admitted to Lansdowne Road for the rescheduled game which will take place on October 20th.

However, tickets issued for Scotland v Ireland and Wales v Ireland for the original dates will be valid for the rescheduled games on September 22nd and October 13th, 2001.

Meanwhile on the domestic front, Garryowen have confirmed that Andy Earl will continue as coach next season.
