The IRFU (Ulster Branch) have announced that Dungannon pair Tyrone Howe and Bryn Cunningham have signed full time contracts for the province next season. Ulster are anxious to regain their place amongst Europe’s elite next season following a disappointing Heineken Cup campaign this year which saw them lose four of their six Pool C games.
The signing of highly influential Irish international Howe, together with Cunningham and last month's signing of Kieran Campbell from London Irish, takes the number of signed Ulster contracts up to 25.
