Munster have named their team for Friday's game against the Rest of Ireland following training in Cork this afternoon. Dion O'Cuinneagain is due to arrive from South Africa after a ten-hour flight at lunchtime on Friday but is expected to play some part in the warm up match for the European Cup semi-final on Saturday week. The number 7 position has been left open with three players, Jerry Murray, Colm McMahon and O’Cuinneagain, in contention for the starting line-up.
As expected Ireland ‘A’ international captain Tom Tierney will wear the number 9 jersey, replacing the injured Peter Stringer. In the absence of the injured Alan Quinlan, Donnacha O’Callaghan will operate at blindside wing forward. Dominic Crotty, John Hayes, Ronan O'Gara, Anthony Foley are all included after recovering from injuries.
