France have been hit by the news that centres Richard Dourthe and Stephane Glas have been forced to pull out of the squad for Saturday's Lloyds TSB Six Nations game against Scotland through injury. Both were injured playing for their club sides at the weekend. Dourthe, who is also the French place-kicker, injured a cheek playing for Dax, while Bourgoin's Glas sprained his left ankle. Glas will be replaced by Cedric Desbrosse of Toulouse and a replacement for Dourthe will be named later today, according to team manager Jo Maso. French coach Bernard Laporte has already seen forwards Abdelatif Benazzi and Lionel Mallier, scrum-half Fabien Galthie and replacement fly-half Alain Penaud pull out of the squad for the Murrayfield clash, while first-choice fly-half Christophe Lamaison remains sidelined having missed the defeat by England in Paris. Galthie will be replaced in the squad with Toulon's Aubin Hueber.
