The former Connacht back started all three Lions Tests in the 2021 tour of South Africa. Henshaw's strong running lines get Ireland on the front foot and he brings a physical presence to the Irish midfield in attack and defence.
The Athlone native won a Pro12 title with the Westerners in his final game for the province before switching to Leinster.
