New Zealand-born Aki has been a central part of Ireland success over the last six years, dovetailing with Garry Ringrose and Robbie Henshaw in the centre.
He was part of the Connacht side that won the Pro12 in 2016 and his form for Ireland earned him a Lions call-up in 2021 where he started the third Test against South Africa.
An abrasive midfield bulwark, Aki will be appearing at his second World Cup for Ireland and was sent off in their final pool match against Samoa in 2019.
