Despite enduring an injury-disrupted couple of years, Ulster captain Henderson remains a key part of Andy Farrell's plans, having signed a two-year extension to his IRFU central contract earlier this summer.
The 31-year-old returned from injury in Ireland’s World Cup warm-ups, having been sidelined with a fractured forearm in Round 4 of the Six Nations against Scotland.
Henderson has played his part in four Six Nations titles with Ireland since making his debut against the Springboks as a 20-year-old in 2012, while he’s also toured New Zealand and South Africa with the British and Irish Lions in 2017 and 2021.
