Doris has established himself as one of the game's elite back rows in the last two years, and that form was recognised when he was named Men’s Player’s Player of the Year by Rugby Players Ireland in May of 2023.
The Mayo native made his debut in Andy Farrell’s first game as Ireland head coach in 2020, and had started Ireland’s last 21 games in a row leading up to the World Cup warm-ups.
Doris was one of 10 Irish players named to the Six Nations Team of the Championship in 2023, and was also nominated for Player of the Championship, alongside teammates Hugo Keenan and Mack Hansen.
