The Leinster utility forward is set to play in his first Rugby World Cup at France 2023, having impressed in his three appearances in this year's Six Nations Championship.
The 24-year-old, who is at home equally at second row or blindside flanker, has become known for his speed and agility which defies his 6ft 6in frame, while he’s often a key lineout option for both province and country.
Baird has played 54 times for his province, and earned a first call-up for Ireland in the 2021 Six Nations, making his debut that year against Italy in Rome.
