Welsh referee Nigel Owens will take charge of the Rugby World Cup quarter-final between Ireland and New Zealand.
World Rugby has announced its selection of match officials for the last eight of the tournament which they say is based on "a full review of performances over the 37 pool matches".
Owens is a familiar referee to Irish fans, though did not take charge for any Irish games during this year's Six Nations.
He did however referee the heavy World Cup warm-up defeat to England in Twickenham.
The 48-year-old will be assisted by France's Pascal Gauzere and Australia’s Angus Gardner, with Graham Hughes of England the television match official.
Owens refereed New Zealand when they won the 2015 Rugby World Cup final against Australia, as well as their quarter-final win over France that year.
Jérôme Garcès of France is the man in the middle for England v Australia, South African Jaco Peyper takes charge of his 50th test – and his first quarter-final – when Wales take on France, while Wayne Barnes has been chosen for the last game of the weekend when hosts Japan take on South Africa in Oita.
