Georgia qualify to face Ireland

Georgia booked their place at the 2007 rugby World Cup when an 11-11 draw in Portugal gave them a 28-14 aggregate win.

Georgia, who made their debut in the 2003 tournament, will play in Pool D and will face hosts France, Ireland, Argentina and Namibia.

They will face Eddie O'Sullivan's Ireland team in Bordeaux on September 15th in what is Ireland's second game.

Portugal will play Morocco over two legs for the right to take on Uruguay for the other repechage qualifying place.
