RTÉ Sport will broadcast the A finals of the European Rowing Championships from Poznan in Poland on RTÉ Player this Sunday, with highlights of the Irish competitors who feature in those events on RTÉ2 at 6.30pm.

Evanne Ní Chuilinn will be joined for RTÉ's coverage by former Irish rowers Tim Harnedy and Heather Boyle. Commentary will come from George Hamilton. 

Ireland will have seven crews competing from 9-11 October, with Sanita Puspure defending her title in the women's singles after winning gold at last year's championships in Lucerne. 

The crew of Fiona Murtagh, Aileen Crowley, Eimear Lambe and Aifric Keogh will be competing in the women’s fours, while Ronan Byrne and Daire Lynch will look to continue their success after winning gold in the men’s doubles at the Under-23 European Championships in September.

Fintan McCarthy will go in the lightweight men’s singles. Margaret Cremen and Aoife Casey will be racing in the lightweight women’s doubles in Poznan, with Lydia Heaphy competing in the lightweight women’s singles and Tara Hanlon and Emily Hegarty competing together in the women’s pairs.
