Irish men impress in Germany

Both of Ireland's Olympic class lightweight boats went in the heats this morning at the World Rowing Championships in Germany.

The men's four of Paul Griffin, Richard Archibald, Eugene Coakley and Cathal Moynihan finished second in their heat to advance to Wednesday's quarter-finals.

The women's double of Sinéad Jennings and Niamh NiCheilleachair finished fourth and will go in the repechages on Wednesday.
