Racing at Wexford on Wednesday has been cancelled following a course inspection this morning, while Clonmel's card scheduled for Thursday has been moved back a week.
With a further 16mm of rain at Wexford since yesterday, when the track was already found unfit for racing, the decision has been made to call off the meeting.
Paul Moloney, IHRB Clerk of the Course at Wexford said: "In the space of just four hours yesterday morning we had 15mm of rain which left us waterlogged and since then we've had a further 16mm on top of that."
Following further rain at Clonmel since declarations this morning and with a forecast for the possibility of 10-12mm of rain prior to racing, the fixture scheduled for Thursday 28 March has been moved to Thursday 4 April. The fixture will close for fresh entries on Thursday 28 March.
Meanwhile, heavy rain and an unfavourable forecast has resulted in the cancellation of Gowran Park's card on Wednesday, 3 April.
