Today's meeting at Punchestown will go ahead as planned, following an early morning inspection.
Doubts had been cast on the meeting at the County Kildare track given plunging temperatures overnight, however the track was found to be fit for racing and the fixture scheduled to take place today goes ahead.
The ground remains heavy with fresh ground on the hurdle track.
The forecast is to remain cold with temperatures rising up to 2 degrees.
