Flying Scotsman powered home at the finish to earn the honours in the Listowel Printing Works Handicap.

The 12/1 shot, ridden by Wayne Lordan, was hunting down San Martino and overtook him towards the finish with Autumn Evening stealing into second on the line.

It was one of a number of winners for trainer Joseph O'Brien.

In the first race of the day, the Buckley Agri New Holland Irish EBF Median Auction Maiden, 5/6f Lark In The Mornin prevailed while O’Brien had a third win in the Behans Horseshoe Bar, Restaurant & Townhouse Maiden as favourite White Caviar pulled away, ridden by Declan McDonogh.

One of the most impressive winners of the day was 9/1 shot Flame Of Eire in the Tote Ireland Handicap, a fourth straight win after successes at Limerick, Galway and Bellewstown.

Run The Jewels (8/1) was victorious in the Thorn Plant Hire Handicap, Blues Emperor (13/8) won the MAC Fuels & General Supplies Maiden, the Kevin McManus Bookmaker Handicap was claimed by Butterfly Garden (13/2) and Lord Erskine (8/1) triumphed in the closing race, the Treo Eile Retraining Ireland's Racehorses Handicap.
