Cazoo Derby (In Memory of Lester Piggott) favourite Desert Crown will face 16 rivals at Epsom on Saturday afternoon.
The Michael Stoute-trained Desert Crown, who will be partnered by Richard Kingscote, propelled himself to the head of the market after a taking win in the Dante Stakes at York last month.
Desert Crown will break from stall 12 – one of the more favourable gates in the race, with data suggesting that the two inner stalls are berths to avoid over the mile and a half on the Downs.
Mark and Charlie Johnston's Dante runner-up Royal Patronage (one) and Ralph Beckett's Westover (two) have that slight bias to overcome.
Five of the runners are trained in Ireland, with Aidan O'Brien saddling three of the declared runners as he attempts to stretch his record of wins in the race to nine.
Jockey bookings have yet to be revealed for the trio of Ballydoyle runners, but Ryan Moore is almost certain to partner second favourite Stone Age (four) in the colts' Classic.
Chester trials scorers Star Of India (15) and Changingoftheguard (16) are the other runners for the yard, with the latter sporting first-time cheekpieces.
Donnacha O'Brien will be represented by the Niarchos family-owned Ballysax Stakes winner Piz Badile (seven), who is the mount of Frankie Dettori.
County Tyrone handler Andy Oliver will bid to cause a massive upset with Glory Daze (10).
Charlie Appleby has won two of the last four renewals of the race, with the supplemented Nations Pride (five) Godolphin's apparent first string.
Walk Of Stars (nine) and course winner Nahanni (six) will also contest Saturday's feature for the Boys in Blue.
Simon and Ed Crisford's West Wind Blows (11), Charlie Fellowes' Grand Alliance (17), the Andrew Balding-trained pair of Masekela (eight) and Hoo Ya Mal (three), Charlie Hills' Sonny Liston (13) and Stan Moore's once-raced maiden El Habeeb (14) complete the field.
